The Journey Continues.

I never knew that at the age of 48 I would be so active with so many Journeys. When I was growing up I used to always wonder what I was going to do when I grow up. The main five things I wanted to do was sports, basketball in-particular. Well that dream was put to bed early in life. Soon as I chose the wrong crowd in high school to hang out with. A singer was another one, I never had the voice to be a professional singer but I love to sing. A body builder was another one, but again the wrong crowd and the street life took that dream from me. A veterinarian and playing the drums.

Well who would of thought at the age of 48 I would be doing at least three of them five with a new one. Doing what I can to save as many animals as I can, playing the drums, lifting weights and now playing the guitar.  It may be to late to be a body builder but I do still workout and involve myself with physical fitness as much as my body allows it.

These journeys have now become part of my bucket list. The Williams Animal Rescue has been very satisfying and heartwarming. I have been able to play my part and save up to 4 animals in a 4 months time and keep one of my rescues. My favorite rescue thus far was a dog. Her name was Gracie and I rescued her from an owner that became ill and could no longer take care of her. With the help of my mother, who by the way has been my biggest and best supporter and assistant in The Williams Animal Rescue, was able to find Gracie a great home with owners that had a big acre of land and other dogs to play with. It was emotional and I loved it.

One of my other favorite rescues was a cat. Now I never really been a cat person but something about this cat stole my heart. I brought lulu home from a friend. She wondered on his porch when his neighbors moved and abandoned her. So my friend called me for help finding her a home. Well I brought lulu home to my house and cared for her until I could find her a home. Lulu is a old cat, between 12 and 15 years old so it was hard to find her a home. I kept her for about 2 weeks and decided to take her to the animal shelter but on the way there she kept meowing at me like she was trying to tell me not to take her. She stole my heart at that point and I turned around to bring her back home and kept her. She has been a joy and will live out the rest of her life right here at the house.

My Animal rescue only runs on donations and I have not been able to really operate it properly because the donations are not consistent. Hopefully they will start to be consistent or come in enough so that when I do rescue animals I can care for them the proper way until I find them a home. Please if you can make a small donation so we can give the animals a voice and I can continue to do my part would be very very appreciative. I would really like to continue to run my rescue efforts.

The journey of playing the drums has also been very very satisfying and has given me a way to help with many issues I may have when it comes to everyday life. I get on my drum set and just go into a different world. I can lose time while practicing and get very emotion because my preference of style and music is contemporary gospel music. I play R&B and old school funk as well but contemporary gospel is the main music I play. Playing the drums has always been a passion but I never got a chance to take lessons growing up or early adulthood because life was always getting in the way. At the age of 48 I could not fight it anymore and just dove right in being self taught and boy what a ride it has been so far. Only 7 months at this point and I have advance at a rapid speed. I also have started to learn how to play the guitar. This is a recent goal that came on because of the drums.

I have two names for my beats. HeavenlyBearBeats are when I do a session of a contemporary gospel set. BigBearDrumBeats is when I do a R&B or funk set

Lastly, it may not be body building but its weight lifting at its best. One thing I'm proud of is being able to still workout despite some health issues. I have to keep moving and trying my best to stay as healthy as I can so the issues do not get worst. When I was a younger man I was very active in sports. I was a healthy young man with muscles and a tremendous amount of energy. Bad choices in life and not taking care of myself is now catching up to me but I am trying to keep moving so I can stay healthy in my older age. Nothing is more important then your health and everyone of us should take it very serious. I know its not an easy thing and ones health can be one of the hardest things in the world to take care of. One thing to remember the prevention of bad health is the best thing we can do before bad health eventually hits us. I use IDlife for that. The best products for prevention. Health and wellness products and supplements that are customized to fit your body type. No other company does that. This blog is not about that so I wont get to deep into that but it is so well worth it to try and you can check that out at IDlife, Individual Designed life

So people the purpose of this blog is to motivate you all to pursue your goals and dreams, your passions in life feel so good when you are discover them. No matter your age just keep striving to reach the top and shoot for the starts. The sky is the limit. God bless you all.

Lulu is in need of a home.

Lulu is need of a home again. I rescued Lulu about 6 months ago and was not able to find her a home at the time so she became my first rescue that I kept. She has really be a joy and she is such a sweet cat. I never did find out the actually breed of her but you can tell from the eyes she is a unique breed. She loves to eat and sleep. She will talk with you too. Every morning when I wake and check on her she is already calling me with her really different tones of meowing. Its really cool to hear the different tones she has which to me means she is really talking to me lol..

Well the time has come that I now have to start looking for another home for her due to the lack of donations to the Williams Animal Rescue. She is an older cat and she needs closer care when it comes to here medical needs. Right now she has a rash of some sort on here bottom where she has lost a little bit of fur. I'm not sure what it is but I do not have the resources or finances at this time to be able to get the continued treatment and medical attention she will need so lulu is in need of a home with care givers who can care for her financially. I called many shelters and animal care organizations and they all have refused to take her do to her old age.

With the right care givers Lulu can live for many years but if I cant find her a home soon I and she becomes sick to the point her medical finances are to much for me I will be forced to put her down.

I need your help out there animal lovers. Help me find Lulu a home or donate to the Williams Animal Rescue.  Contact me if you or anyone you may know who will be willing and able to care for a older cat and give her the many more years of life she deserves.

I still love the Animals.

Williams Animal Rescue is still in affect. The love of the animals will always be one of my biggest passions. I'm always on the look out for animals in need of care, shelter and medical attention. I will be doing the best I can to care for the animals with little or no donations which has been the case lately. I did receive very supporting attention at the start of the fundraiser but things have pretty much slowed down. Not sure why but I'm sure everyone has their reason. I just hope their is no negative reasoning for the lack of donations that have been coming in.

I am a very caring person and have always been. There is always judgmental people out there that will take a persons pass and judge them on that and will react to advancements and achievements that take place in that persons life according to their pass. We all know this is wrong and we should all try our best not to do this. Since starting The Williams animal rescue I have saved and cared and attempted the care for about 10 animals and the rescue has only been running for about 4 months. Without your support I can only do so much. I will keep the faith in everybody and believe that there are some caring enough people out there to continue and help to support me in this cause. Saving the animal one paw at a time.

If We don't give the animals a voice, Who will.

Williams Animal Rescue

At Williams Animal Rescue, we take pride in caring and rescuing as many animals as we can. We use all donations strictly for the care of the animals. All donations are documented and logged for any proof our donors need that all donations are going to the cause to care for the medical attention and equipment needed to perform rescues safely for our rescuers and the animals. You can be assured and sleep well to know your donation is being used for the care of all animals

Another satisfied supporter showing support for the cause. Saving the animals one paw at a time. Thanks for all your support Lisa. The T-shirt was one of my raffle gifts from the raffles I hold every month. For a small donation your name will be entered into the monthly drawing to win what ever the gift is for that month.

Lulu was my first rescue. A cat that belonged to an old couple who became sick and abandoned her. She wondered to a friends house of mine who called me to help care and find her a good home. Well I ended up keeping her. She was very old and I did not want her to spend her last days confined to a small shelter space so I kept her. She has been joy to have around.

So far Williams Animal Rescue fund raiser has been running for around 5 months and has been very heart warming to be able to do for the animals in need by finding them good homes and getting them the medical attention they need. It all runs on donations of course so feel free to make a donation for a great cause. Saving the animals one paw at a time. Thank you.
